Keep the rally going.

Free racket hire and ball vending machines for your padel venue.

Players hire rackets and buy balls, you earn a share of every sale.

The equipment

Built to run without you.

A racket hire locker and a ball and accessory machine, both taking card payments only. Neither one needs a key or a member of your staff to run it.

Up to 30 bays

Each bay locks and lights on its own, so a player opens the bay they paid for and nothing else.

Card payments only

Players pay by contactless, Apple Pay or Google Pay on a Nayax or Payter terminal. The machine holds no cash, so there is no till for anyone to empty.

Deposit held, not taken

The terminal places a pre-authorisation on the player's card, and it drops off when the racket goes back.

It tells us first

Each machine reports faults and stock levels to Vamos, so in most cases we know about a problem before anyone at your venue does.

For your venue

More court bookings, a monthly payment, and almost no work for your staff.

Players without a racket still book

The beginner who has not bought their own racket yet is the booking you lose most often. Now they hire one at the door and play.

A new revenue line

You earn a share of every hire and every tube of balls or grip sold, paid monthly against a statement you can check.

Reception is not involved

The machine takes the card deposit and releases it when the racket comes back. Your staff hold nothing, check nothing in, and never chase a player who walked off with one.

How it works

From consultation to first payment in three steps.

A call, then a survey

We spend fifteen minutes on the phone working out whether your venue suits a machine. If it does, we visit to measure the space and check the power, and we agree the spot with you.

We install, at our cost

The machines arrive built, and we handle delivery and installation. Handover takes about five minutes, and we provide a guide for topping up the accessory machine.

Players hire, we pay you

Players hire a racket and return it without going near your desk. When the machine reports accessory stock running low, we send a box to your venue for your staff to load. At the end of each month we pay your share and send the statement.

The four things we need from you.

Most venues already have three of them. If one is missing, we price it at the survey, before you commit to anything.

Covered space

The machines need to stand indoors or under cover, in a spot players already pass on their way to the courts.

A power socket

Each machine plugs into a standard 13A socket and needs to be within reach of where the machines will stand.

Signal and a line

The card reader takes payments over its own 4G connection.

Someone to load a box

Accessory stock arrives by post when the machine reports it is running low. A member of staff spends a few minutes putting it in, and we leave a guide explaining how.

Outdoor courts are the one variable. Some sites need a canopy or a purpose-built housing to keep rain off the unit. We answer that at the survey rather than after install.

The 90-day clause

If it is not earning after 90 days, we remove it at our cost.

We take the machines out, make good the space, and the agreement ends there. You pay no exit fee and no charge for the space, and we do not dispute it. The clause is written into the agreement you sign, so your finance team can read it before anyone commits.

Getting paid

You see every hire, then you get paid for it.

Each month you receive a statement drawn from the machine's own records, listing each hire and each sale, and the transfer follows it.

Questions

Questions your finance director will ask.

If yours is not here, ask it on the call. We would rather answer it before the survey than after the install.

Vamos buys the machines, installs them, insures them and monitors them. There is no rental, no service charge and no minimum spend. Your only outlay is the electricity they draw, which is about the same as a domestic fridge.

Vamos does. The machines sit on our public and product liability cover, to £1m, and our own equipment policy covers damage and theft. Your existing insurance does not change.

Vamos does. Each machine reports faults to us, so in most cases we know before your staff do. If a bay sticks or the card reader stops, we take it out of service from our end and send an engineer. You never pay for a repair.

The pre-authorisation on the player's card covers it. When a racket does not come back within the hire window, we take the deposit and replace the racket.

We remove the machines, make good the space, and that is the end of it. You pay nothing to exit. The clause is written into the agreement, so your finance team can read it before you sign.

Somewhere covered that players already walk past, such as the lobby or the corridor to the courts. The two machines stand side by side against a wall and take up about the floor space of two drinks machines. We measure and agree the spot at the survey.

It can, with cover. The machines need protection from rain, so an outdoor site usually means a canopy or a small housing. We assess that at the survey and price it before you commit to anything.

The hire locker looks after itself, because players return the rackets to it. The accessory machine is topped up by your staff. When it reports stock running low, we send a box of stock to your venue and someone loads it in a few minutes, following the one-page guide we leave at handover.

Monthly, by bank transfer. At the end of each month we send a statement drawn from the machine's own records, listing each hire and each sale, and the transfer follows it.

Yes. Your monthly statement lists each transaction, so you can check your share against what the machines took. On the call we can also share what a venue of your size can expect, based on court count and how busy you are.

A covered spot, a standard 13A socket, a wifi or ethernet connection for the locker, and a member of staff to load a box of stock now and then. Most venues already have the first three.

Yes. The machines carry Vamos livery as standard, and we can add your logo and colours to the front panels. We agree the artwork with you before install.

Fresh ball tubes, grips and overgrips, wristbands, and a few other essentials players tend to forget. We can adjust the range to suit your venue.

It depends which way you want the machines shipped, and that is your call at the point of signing.

By sea, 10 to 12 weeks. The standard route, and the one most venues take. That covers manufacturing, the sea crossing, and customs clearance at this end.

By air, 10 to 14 days. If you have a launch date, a season or an event to hit, we can air freight instead. It costs more to ship and we go through that on the call before you commit to it.

Either way, installation itself takes a morning and handover takes about five minutes. Shipping times move with weather and port delays, so we keep you updated rather than giving you a date and going quiet.

You take a share of racket hire and a share of accessory sales, agreed before you sign and written into the agreement. The exact split depends on the option you choose, and we go through it on the call.
